High Dynamic Range (HDR)Photoshop's facility for working with images that have 16 bits or more of information per colour channel. Photoshop uses floating point numbers that can be 32 bits long, allowing for a much larger range of tones in a scene. Photoshop can also combine two images taken at different exposures, merging them to create an image that includes the dynamic ranges of both.
