Born in 1979 to a single mother whose determination and love lit up their lives, James's upbringing was grounded in perseverance. His life's journey wove through the brotherhood of a bike gang, the disciplined ranks of the Royal Artillery, and the close-knit ties of freemasonry, enriching his soul with a deep understanding of camaraderie and the human spirit.A pivotal moment in his life was when a film camera, a gift from his great uncle at age 10, ignited his passion for photography. This newfound outlet became his window to the world, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary snapshots of life's beauty and complexity. James's lens has captured everything from the candid charm of reality TV stars to the elegance of beauty queens, showcasing his ability to find and celebrate the unique light within each subject.Tragedy struck on New Year's Eve 2022 in a hit-and-run accident, demonstrating James's courage as he saved his children from their wrecked car, despite his own severe injuries. His subsequent battle to recover underscored his indomitable will and the preciousness of life.With roots stretching from Canada to Grenada, James's mixed heritage and global travels have further colored his work, making each photograph a testament to the vibrant tapestry of human life.
