Venue History: BMA House was designed by the famed architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911. Originally designed for the Theosophical Society the building work was interrupted by the war, after which the Society could no longer afford the building so it was sold to The British Medical Association and has been occupied as their headquarters since 1925. The House has undergone many developments over the years, the most recent being a significant refurbishment completed in 2008 which has created the spaces that are available to hire today for weddings and corporate events.
