Suitable locations inside the venue for wedding photography: Our light Orangery is where indoor ceremonies take place. A light room with large floor space for intimate and group shots. Spacious hallways and Reception provide ample space for indoor photographs.

Local picturesque areas suitable for wedding photography: Our jetty and local Kirk.

Venue special features: Our views are breathtaking in all seasons. Couples can be married on the loch's edge or indoors. We have a large Master Suite ideal for preperation photographs. For wetter days we have an ample supply of wellies you can borrow!

Venue History: Taychreggan was originally a Drover's Inn over 300 years ago when wealth was measured in cattle! Located at the thinnest point on Loch Awe cattle where driven across the water to graze in the North or to market in the South. Historical visitors have included the phiolospher Samuel Johnson and his biographer James Boswell.

Other information: Although we are remote we are only 2 hours drive from Glasgow and under 3 hours from Edinburgh. Our local train station is 10 miles away - you could even arrive by seaplane!
