Venue History: The Queen's House, built in the 17th century by Inigo Jones was the first wholly classical building of its kind in England. Queen Anne, wife of James I, hosted such sumptuous parties that it became known as the 'House of Delight'.Bathed in southern light and Palladian romance lies the Orangery and its parlours offering an intimate setting for ceremonies for up to 50 guests, and receptions for up to 120 guests.
