The Hotel, an imposing Victorian, Gothic style listed building has many original features which have been retained during the recent refurbishment.
Oakwood Hall Hotel has achieved a worthy reputation as one of the foremost venues in the area for both civil marriage ceremonies and high class wedding receptions.
Conferences, seminars and interview facilities as well as private parties can be arranged with confidence.
Oakwood Hall is an independant, privately owned Hotel with a history of successful functions and satisfied customers over the past 22 years. The Hall is situated amidst landscaped gardens and patios within quiet woodland creating a beautiful backdrop for photographs. There is ample car parking.
The restaurant can seat upto 50 guests and the Garnet Room upto 30; the two rooms combined can easily seat 95 guests. However for informal evening wedding parties and other functions we can cater for upto 175 guests with a buffet. The tables are dressed with fresh flowers, we have both hexagonal and round cake stands and knives, these are at your disposal at no extra cost.
One of the Hotels Bridal suites is offered complimentary to the Bride and Groom should they wish to stay the night following their wedding reception Should your guests wish to stay overnight we suggest that they make their own reservations direct with the Hotel. A changing room can be made available throughout the day at a nominal charge.
