Venue History: Built in the 17th Century the Mansion was pivately owned by Lord and Lady Price until 1965 when it was bequithed to the National Trust. Kew Gardens The Royal Botanic Gardens then leased the Mansion and the Gardens from the National Trust and have since run and maintained the Gardens and the Mansion.

Other information: All profits from our events and weddings goes directly to caring for the Gardens and the Mansion a Grade 1 listed building. The revenue from commerical activities is used to fund our national and international conservation work around the world and locally. We actively support local and organically produce products in our catering and throughout the venue.
