Venue History: The banqueting facility is part of the Centre for Life building, a Millenium project build created by Sir Terry Farrell as a science village which includes The Life Science Centre public attraction with its planetarium, permanent and temporary exhibitions for all the family. The unique building is something of a landmark sight within the city of Newcastle and is in close proximity to Newcastle's central mainline railway station.
