Wedding services provided: Castle Ward is registered to hold civil weddings, religious ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies. Castle Ward also can offer a church service at the church that was built by the Ward Family. Ballyculter church stands just outside the gates to Castle Ward demesne.
Castle Ward offers in-house catering as well as a list of externally approved caters.

A location of natural beauty with an abundance of photographic opportunities. From the victorian sunken garden to yew tree terrace, from the rustic farmyard to nearby Temple Water.

Venue History: At the heart of the Castle Ward Demesne is a fascinating 18th century house half of which is built in the Classic style and the other half in Strawberry Hill Gothick. This is the third and most splendid house to have been built by the Ward Family over a four hundred year period.
Other information: The National Trust with your support, works hard to perserve these special places for future generations to enjoy. Historic houses and their furnishings are fragile and are protected by national codes of practice.
