Ti na Coille - House of the Wood - a Victorian mansion steeped in history, Tinakilly was built by the British Government in 1883 for Captain Robert Halpin, Commander of "The Great Eastern" and mariner supreme who laid 2,600 miles of telegraphic cable in 1866, joining Europe to America.
