Venue History: Dyffryn dates back to the 7th century but it was the coal magnate John Cory's ownership from the late 19th century that most significantly shaped the estate as seen today. Thomas Mawson was commissioned to design the Garden and there is evidence of a vast array of unusual plants within the Gardens
