The final set of images in this article were a single light and sunlight combination. On the Friday we visited a location we've been to every year and will continue to visit as it offers so much variety. Plus - you reach it by riding a little train over the salt flats which is a wonderful way to access your inner child if like me you had train sets.
A board-walk leads through the dunes to the beach and I had long had an image in mind. One of the delegates, Tracey Reynolds, had brought a vintage swimsuit and Tilly chanelled her inner Marilyn Monroe brilliantly, helped by the make-up skills of Scotland's own Nicole Whyte. Tracey had her own images in mind and so I had to be quick. The sun provided the backlighting and exposure value 1/200s and f22. This would have rendered Tilly as a silhouette and so a single flash fitted with my faux Beauty Dish at full power provided the lighting from camera left. IMAGE J, K, L and M
