This intensive, hands-on workshop included two photo sessions in addition to lots of practical lessons shared. One of the sessions was an engagement session and the other a bridal portrait.
Knowing how challenging and exhilarating it can be to work with people I often only get the opportunity to meet on the day of the session, I demonstrated to the class how I work with clients from the initial call to the day of the session.
To make things even more real, our engagement session was of a newly engaged couple who I had never worked with before. Jeni and Mike were awesome as they presented an opportunity to create some wicked, cool portraits with their selection of rock-inspired clothing, leather boots and funky fashion sense.
Although I had known Jeni as an aesthetician, I had never met her partner, Mike. Given he had to be convinced by Jeni to do the portrait session, and was supposedly very camera shy, he was the perfect subject, as was Jeni.
