Not surprisingly Seamus is looking forward to his chance to speak at the Convention with relish, and he's prepared a workshop that is designed to give fellow photographers an insight into his business and the way he operates.

Concentrating on the field of wedding, fashion and boudoir, Seamus will be bringing together the various strands of his operation and showing how it's possible to combine all of the different areas of beauty to create an end product that will appeal to the modern bride on every level.

"In my presentation I hope to give an insight into my work as a professional photographer in Ireland, working for Irish Debs and Irish Wedding Planner magazines," he says, "and I'll also be speaking about the passion I have, and the buzz I get, from photographing beauty and glamour. Alongside that I'll be giving delegates an insight into my lighting styles and techniques, and on a personal level I'll also talk about how to get fit, keep fit and stay fit as a professional photographer

I'll provide a simple, common sense guide for the 'wanna be fit photographer.'"

Also part of the workshop will be an insight into Seamus' work with glamour and fine art nude studies, a chance to see how he works with hair and makeup artists and stylists, and a dash of theory as he looks at how he balances ambient and flash lighting in his work.

Naturally Seamus won't be looking to just deliver his workshops and then head home. He's already lined up his list of 'must see' workshops, and he'll be just as excited as any other delegate when he gets on to the Convention floor. "I'm planning to catch at least a few of Damien McGillicuddy's Masterclasses," he says, "because he's my inspiration. I also want to see Bjorn Thomassen, because I know I'll take so much away from that session."

All in all it's adding up to a very exciting few days for Seamus and to say he can't wait for it all to begin would be something of an understatement!
