Photoshop 7 Artistry

This is from a long running series of books on Photoshop by these authors and like its predecessors it is well recommended. It is very detailed, through and technically sound, particularly the sections on colour management. The version 7 book is shorter than the version 6 one and a chapter has been shipped out to the CD. There is a brand new section on the Brushes in Photoshop 7, one of the areas where there has been the greatest change. If you are new to the series, this book is money well spent but if you already have version 6 there is insufficient to tempt unless you are burning to get to grips with the new brushes.

Photoshop 7 Artistry by Barry Haynes & Wendy Crumpler. Published by New Riders. 466ppgs CD ISBN 0-7375-1240-9. Priced £42.99
