Overall it was an interesting show and there was lots to interest photographers, even if just to expose you to a different, but adjacent world and provoke some ideas. Entry is free.

More big news coming from the show floor today. Emap Connect, the organisers of BVE, have announced a second exhibition, this time in Manchester. BVE North will take place at the Manchester Central venue on the 16-17 November 2011, alongside EMAP Networks' popular Media Festival. It will feature a combination of seminars, workshops, exhibition space and networking opportunities.

Colette Leong-son, CEO of EMAP Networks, said: "This presents a perfect opportunity for the commissioning, production and technology communities to come together to discuss, review and share innovations and gain valuable insights into the future of the industry."
