Editorial - February-March 2009 - part 1 of 1

Welcome to 2009, the Convention has come and gone, the trophies given out, the reports written and the exhausted staff returned to their loved ones. For the logistics team the problems did not end with calling the Convention to a close, a broken down lorry saw them back at the Novotel for another night - just as well it's such a nice place to hang out at!

his is the Focus issue of Professional Imagemaker and the team look forward to seeing as many of you as make it to our stand. A full program of talks is planned on Stand H30.

One item that caught the eye this month was in the Royal Photographic Society's journal. Apparently they have been canvassing opinion on the formation of a specialist group for film users! My, how the world has been turned on its head in so short a time.

We hope you have a happy and prosperous 2009 in spite of the dark financial clouds that are hanging over the world in general. Remember there is always a penny to be turned somewhere, you just might have to look harder to find it!
