The external competitions for non-members have proved to be a usefulstrategy tool for The Societies. We have received and lot (and we meana LOT!) of outstanding work from all over the globe. An additionalbenefit is that the newspapers have picked up the feeds and published itfurther. To date reports have been published by The Times, The Telegraph,Metro and the Irish Daily Mail - that's a lot of readers seeing the Societies'name; it's all good stuff.
Meanwhile, the digital version of Professional Imagemaker continuesto expand the horizon of The Societies. Our membership footprint hasincreased from a presence in 53 countries, the last time I looked, to 70countries. Analysis of the download data shows us penetrating suchfar flung places as Korea, Azerbaijan, Nigeria and a number of SouthAmerican countries. As might be expected the greatest number ofdownloads are to UK and USA.
