Looking at a photographer's portfolio can be revealing- what does your portfolio reveal about you?
That I love detail, light and colour. My portfolio alsoshows my clients are very comfortable when I'mtaking their picture, which is down to our high level ofbespoke client service and the time our team take tomake this possible.
Do you enter competitions? If so, is it with your dayto-day work or do you shoot specifically to create acompetition image?
I hadn't entered a competition until very recently, and I haven't taken an image to date specifically fora competition. I entered the November Societies'competition and received a HC for one of my bridalfashion images - so I'll definitely be entering more! What do you love the most about being a photographer? No two days are the same. I get to travel, meet lovelypeople, and share the happiest days of their lives.I also get to share life journeys with clients as theirfamilies expand and businesses take off.
Who inspires you?
I find inspiration in well-known photographers, business people, and those in my everyday world. Andnot just from a visual perspective - I'm inspired bytheir work ethics and drive too. My Husband, RichardBranson, Anna Wintour, Damien Lovegrove, CherylSandberg, Doug Box, my Table (you know who youare!) to name a few.
What does the future hold?
Many more weddings and happyclients for Nikki Kirk Photographyand Carle & Moss CommercialPhotography - which works onbespoke hand-picked projects. We're growing rapidly, so I'mlooking forward to seeing wherethe journey takes us.
Anything else you'd like to share?
A big thank you to my family, friends and clients who are mybiggest cheerleaders! And I'd liketo close with the words of Vogue'sEditor in Chief, Anna Wintour:Create your own style...let it beunique for yourself yet identifiableby others.
