Out and About in London - part 1 of 1

Hope you all had a wonderful time! I know I did. Wow, it was so spiritual, and so like a family reunion for me, I'm glad that the Societies have been changed again, I feel like I have grown up with all of you.

For those of you who don't know what the Societies' Convention is about:

It's the party and educational experience of the year and this year was no different. I have been fortunate enough to lecture at conventions worldwide and the truth is theSocieties' got it down pat. The delegates and instructors love it. I was fortunate enough to give three great location seminars this year besides my master classes. We started dayone at the Novotel. Day two we made our way around town at The Tower Bridge and the day was completed with sprawling views of the The London Eye and the most awesomeGraffiti park.

What's unique about the Societies compared to other groups, is that it is completely nonpolitical. It is a group focused on bettering our industry and this show is the culminationof lots of hard work and efforts of many people. The classes ranged on every topic from weddings to boudoir, to children, to families, to sports, events and, of course,lots of Photoshop and Lightroom.

Whatever you wanted to know about our industry you could learn first hand from the experts on site. Then there is the trade show. I swear I died and went to heaven. It took two fulldays just to get the full experience. If you haven't made it to a Convention before, make it a priority for your future development.
