Picture Framing Underpinners

Underpinners are ideal for bespoke picture framing work and will join the mitred joints together quickly and accurately. An underpinner will insert a metal clip or wedge that securely holds the pieces together, the joint can be strengthened by a small dab of glue. underpinners are floor standing

They are either foot operated or powered by compressed air, however for the lower volume framer the foot powered versions can prove cost effective and efficient enough not to compromise workflow.

Most underpinners are floor standing, but will fit neatly into a corner of a room workspace.

You will also need to make a reasonable sized workbench for finishing the frames.
