Exactly one half of the face, straight downs the middle. Turning the face towards the camera, until you begin to see second eye, then turn the face from the camera until the eye on the far side and eyebrow disappear.

As you look at different sides of the face, take into account the difference that the hair style can make. Does the nose look straighter one side than the other, etc...


The Pose

The masculine pose is pose in which:

The head and body flow in the same direction

For a full or two-thirds view of the face, the body is turned to a 45 degree angle from the camera position and leaned forward at the waist.

To emphasise the front of the face, the subjects body and face are turned towards the light.

Just before exposure is made the subject should be lifted to their fullest height to achieve better posture.
