Newborn Baby Posing Ltd
Pitched as being one of the country's biggest suppliers of newborn and maternity photography props, Newborn Baby Posing Ltd also provides training and workshops with some of the industry's brightest talents.
Known for its baby-posing beanbags, which it describes as the most essential item for newborn photography, other items include backdrop stands and beanbag frames. The latter are designed to fit the width and height of its beanbags and make any post-processing that much easier.
In short, and as shown by the photographs here, Newborn Baby Posing Ltd is something of the proverbial one-stop-shop, selling everything a photographer of newborns could conceivably need. We're talking a large variety of newborn wraps, hairbands, nappy covers, fabric backdrops, vinyl backdrops, vintage cases, buckets, baskets and rugs. Added to this are boutique product ranges for older babies, said to be suited to increasingly popular 'cake smash' photo sessions, plus a maternity range which includes lace, chiffon and jersey dresses, lace caps, shawls, ponchos and more.
Newborn Baby Posing Ltd notes that its best selling soft knitted backdrops have been endorsed by two of the highest-profile photographers in the newborn photography business, namely Jillian Greenhill of Julian Greenhill Photography and Kelly Brown of Little Pieces in Australia. These knitted backdrops come in a range of colours, with complementary items designed to coordinate perfectly with them including bonnets, wraps, fabric layers and hair ties.
Floral backdrops can also be used in conjunction with posing beanbags, while further props include a 'behind the scenes' posing ring. This can be placed under the backdrop to create an area for the newborn to be nestled into, and thus create a very pleasing image. Baskets and woven structures specially created for Newborn Baby Posing Ltd present further options for those photographers after creating a natural/ 'organic' look.
New to the range this season is a tiny newborn sized 'wigwam', a natural basket with handles, a fancy knot tray and an open twigged basket. The company also says that trench bowls have been introduced to its store after a long hard search, and its current design is an exclusive one. Finally, there is the option of 'finkati' rugs, which it describes as 'much sought after'. These are available in pink, purple, natural, yellow and blue - and are of a size suited to sibling shots, not just newborns on their own.
