First in a new range of innovative projector accessories, the Epson ELP DC-06 is easy to use and ultra portable.

2 February, 2009 - Epson, the world leader in the projector market , has today launched the Epson ELP DC-06, a document camera, the first in a new range of innovative accessories designed to work easily with projectors. Ideal for the classroom and training environments, the DC-06 is compact, quick to set up and simple to use. Requiring just a single USB cable when used with Epson's new EB-85, EB-825 and EB-826W projectors, the document camera enables the presentation of documents without the need for a computer or separate power supply.

We have created an easy to use and extremely affordable portable document camera. Customers in the education sector especially will benefit from the many user-friendly features the DC-06 offers."

The DC-06 has a small footprint and is extremely light, weighing less than 1kg, making it an ideal portable accessory that can be carried from room to room and easily stored when not in use. Perfectly compatible with the new Epson EB-85, EB-825 and EB-826W projectors, with simple connection via a USB cable, the new document camera will also work easily with other projectors via a computer; without the need for a separate power cable.

Providing a flexible solution for displaying documents, the ELP DC-06 has a wide range of features. The camera head has both vertical and horizontal image rotation, allowing users to capture a whiteboard or 3D objects, as well as flat pages, with ease. An impressive 4x digital zoom enables users to increase images by up to four times.

As with all Epson products, environmental performance has been a primary consideration. The power consumption of the DC-06 is just 2.5W and it requires no external power when connected to a computer, thanks to its USB connection.
