[3]This is what I saw with my eye, but when I metered the subjects and set the camera for that reading, the clouds blew out. So I brought in the off-camera flash in the soft box. Meter for the background then bring the flash in at the same f stop
[4]Without the flash, the dramatic clouds disappeared.
[5]A dramatic image that combined slow shutter speed with stop action of the flash. This was shot at 1/2 sec @ 5.6 ISO 100, on a tripod. Even though the camera was on a tripod but the wave was moving the camera and the subject.
[6] (Self Portrait). I metered for the lights on the building (1/4 sec @ f 6.3 ISO 400) and brought the flash in at f 6.3 Both the flash and camera was set in manual.
[7]Glamour model on beach. In this case I metered for the background using the in camera meter.
[8]In this image I used the off-camera flash as the main light. I also used the on camera flash as a fill light. I set in on -2 in the ETTL mode.
