Client Phone Script (with client interaction)

"Hello and thanks for calling Patken Photographer! This is Doug. How can I help you?" Callers response is typically:

'I am getting married and interested in finding out how much you charge.'

"Terrific, I would love to discuss pricing with you, however first I would like to get some information from you and check ouravailability to make sure we are a good fit, if that would be okay."

Callers response is typically:'Sure!'

These questions are very important for you. They help to track where leads are coming from and what forms of marketing are working foryou. It also starts the beginning of a working relationship with theclient. The only question that matters at the beginning before yourmonol gue is - How did you hear about us? This matters because,based on the information they give, you can relate to them much better, especially if it is a referral from client or other vendor. The phonequestionnaire is on the next page for you to fill out with each phonecall.

"First and foremost, How did you hear about us?Are you familiar with our work?"

Callers response is typically:

'(yes) or (a little) or (just what I saw online) or (not really)'"What is the date of your wedding?"
"Where will WE be going for the ceremony and at what time?"
"Where will WE be going for the reception and at what time?"


Time for your very critical - Monologue

"Great, I would like to tell you a little more about us,. The most important thing I can tell you is WE ARE FLEXIBLE! (YOU MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN ORDER TO SAY THAT) We focus on making sure you enjoy your day without interruption. We set up a schedule so that once your party starts, you will never be bothered. As far our style is concerned, it is best described as a unique combination of vintage glamour and contemporary fashion. We are very detail-oriented. We want to know everything about your wedding and about you so that we are able to describe the intimate details that you have so carefully planned. While we do capture the naturalness of the day, we will be creating our own magic through light, unobtrusive posing. We pose you, but we pose you to look natural. We want to portray your wedding day as it is intended to be - romantic and fun in every way. One of the best things about us is our collections are all-inclusive to avoid any hidden fees. They include a combination of colour, black and white, sepia, black and white with a splash of colour and, most importantly, retouching. This again is all included at no charge, and appears in every one of our proofs you are presented with.

Now as far as pricing is concerned it is a little difficult, because it is a lot like buying a gown. There are so many options that we offer to best-reflect who you are, It is impossible to imagine over the phone. We want to avoid you receiving things that you may not want or need. All of our collections are customized to your needs and more importantly your budget. What I can tell you is that we have collections that begin at $x,xxx and go from there. With that being said, 'WHEN IS BEST FOR YOU TO COME SEE US?'"
