Adding boudoir photography to her business as a way of diversifying was a great way for Lisa to sell add-on services to brides. 'It's been really popular. They'll come along a few months beforehand to our studio, we arrange for a hair and make-up artist to come in and I shoot them in some of their favourite lingerie or often something like their fiancee's favourite rugby shirt!' Lisa also believes being female helps her clients have confidence in these boudoir sessions 'It's just me doing the photography, the female make-up artist and the client. I try to make it very relaxed because some people do find having their photo taken like this quite intimidating.'

However, Lisa also finds it's a good way to find out more about the couple before the wedding: 'You get the client talking, about how they met, where they've been on holiday together, what it is that she really loves about him. Because when you get someone talking about the person that they really love, their expression changes and you can get some gorgeous photos.'
