In the second test shot the dogs' coats have identical (and neutral) values but the grass pitch in the background is slightly more saturated.

Despite these differences, the visual match was much closer then we have obtained in the past. They would never be expected to match because of slight variations in the set colour temperature and the much larger difference in the gamut volume available, but the outcome is very usable in a practical situation and it is only when doing side-by-side, critical comparisons that the differences show up - you would expect, for example, to achieve commercially acceptable colour grading of images from either screen.
