Benchmarking
We anticipated a massive boost in working speed and we were not disappointed. Even installing the operating system (Windows 10) was many times faster than previous experience. It was when we opened Photoshop for the first time we had our biggest and nicest surprise. First time of asking we were not even quick enough to stop the stop-watch but we then measured it at 1.1 seconds. Other benchmarking times are tabled and are very significantly faster than anything we have previously measured. As is the way with Windows it will inevitably degrade. However, coming down from the 7m 30s to fire up a machine to the current 25s seems like heaven!
