As soon as I saw this image I just knew it had to be worked up into a feature! It contains all the right elements: it is funny, quirky, clever, complex and skilled. Above all, though, is the idea and the amusement value, you would need to be having a really, really bad day if it did not force a smile from a viewer.

The original goldfish bowl was not quite the correct shape and needed a lipped rim. The goldfish bowl combined with the water droplets from the cat's fur.

Sadly the feature is also a memorial to poor little Squeak who went over the rainbow bridge just days after basking in the sunshine of the Hilton foyer – she lived for just 1½ years, which is actually quite good for a mouse!
