Following on from the pictures of the winners and their images, here is what was happening out and about on the Convention floors!

The Tuesday was filled with 16x20 judging, qualifications and three location seminars. The latter consisted of a mock wedding with Andrea Barrett and Mark Jordan, a 'boudoir boutique' hosted by Faye and Trevor Yerbury (in Mayfair) and a lighting and posing seminar, on location, with Stuart Bebb.

Thursday it was the turn of Robert Lino, Joe Photo, Art Suwansang and Becker to take delegates' hands and lead them through the streets of London. Meantime, back at the ranch, Sandy Puc' and Nick Ghionis were leading a total of four seminars each doubled to accommodate the heavy demand. The 16x20 judges had still not sent up any white smoke and were thus confined to barracks until a little after midday.

Sandy Puc' having fun at the Science Museum with Fredau, Lucy, Ffion and Rhys Images - Paul Taylor

Wednesday saw Sandy Puc' out with the kids (and Fredau) at the Science Museum, all having a fabulous time. Also out and about were Joe Cogliandro (boudoir in London), followed, in the twilight hours by John Denton on an Urban Safari.

Friday it was all back to base with the start of the trade show and a huge, non-stop programme of lectures by the wealth of speakers the Societies is blessed with. The rooms were well filled and, in some instances, crowded to the extent that the doors had to be closed off and 'full' notices placed.

Once again the models cheerfully endured a lot of shooting in the 'grounds and surrounds' of the hotel, often in front of bemused locals. As the recorders of these things we got most of the action but missed the shot as the startled residents of 22 Shortlands came out to find Sorella in their porch posing for Art Suwansang - it would have made a fabulous shot but hey-ho you can't get them all!

John Denton went on safari in London's theatre district, Chinatown and Piccadilly Circus. They all had a great time and the pictures showed it!
