In the soft morning sunshine, watching the boats and fishermen on the river, sharing a delicious collection of olives, cheese, meats, bread and honey with friends...there was no better place to be. A superb end to our visit to Istanbul but it certainly won't be the last time I visit that magical city.
From Turkey to Cyprus via a brief-stop over in Athens.
Time to buy a few little pressies in the duty free for those back home and have a coffee. After a full day we staggered into the hotel in Limassol ready for the next day's workshop. It was a full day of shooting in bridal and fashion styles. Great to see some familiar faces in the audience after my previous visit to Cyprus in 2010. A good day in the sunshine. I was in t-shirt and shorts whilst most of the locals were bundled into winter gear. It was a very pleasant day to take pictures and good to feel the sand between my toes for the last part of the shoot.
Next day it was back on the plane, back to Heathrow, drop Tanya off in York and finally stagger home by about 10pm. A great trip and thanks to everyone who made it happen and came to the events. The Societies are going back to both places next year and I shall be doing some workshops abroad next year so keep an eye on the blog for details.
There are 0 days to get ready for The Society of Photographers Convention and Trade Show at The Novotel London West, Hammersmith ...
