The as-shot Raw image is overlaid to show the difference after corrections have been applied for optical field distortion.
The de-noising was tested using files from a Canon EOS 7D at 800ISO, a rather noisy combination. Again the improvement was significant and detectable.
For distortion correction we struggled with the 14-24mm Nikkor; the change appeared to be only about 1 pixel. However, with the 24-70mm Nikkor the frame edges were moved 19 pixels in the middle - representing an 0.67% tweak. To put that another, way four-point text at the frame edge was moved a whole line-space distance. Some of the examples of correcting super-wide and fisheye shots to rectilinear are truly spectacular.
The noise reduction is very effective.

This is a suite of creative effects and, because they may be ganged together, the possibilities are actually endless. The latest version includes a preset for specific film 'looks', right down to individual film types (eg Fuji Superia HG 1600). Again the possibilities are almost limitless with 11 colour negative films, 24 transparency films and 26 monochrome negative films. Two crossprocessing options are also included for Kodak Elite 100 and Fuji Superia 200.
