Get an instant website from Zenfolio

For those not already familiar from its exhibiting at The Societies Convention and winning Best Professional Customer Service, Best Professional Software and (and!) Best Professional Website Provider at 2015's event, Zenfolio is a US-originating, all-in-one photo-hosting and e-commerce website solution for photographers looking to showcase, store, share and sell work online. With 500+ products to choose from and with relationships formed with pro print labs including One Vision Imaging (via which you can sell photo books to customers), photographers can display their work online or enjoy e-commerce, plus everything in between.

Latest additions to its offerings include an updated and streamlined new edit view, localisation options (into French, German and Spanish to help people not just in English-speaking countries, but globally) - but the biggest news is its development of a new client-facing 'Photo Moments' app. This is designed to allow photographers' clients to instantly gain access to their digital photos, view them in a beautiful presentation, download them to their device and share with others. Zenfolio tells us that your clients simply open the app and add their gallery for their images to become instantly accessible for viewing anytime and anywhere they want. At the time of writing, the Photo Moments app had been submitted to Apple and Google and will be available for immediate download upon approval for photographers and clients using both iOS and Android devices.

In terms of cost, Zenfolio now offers four different annual plan options, starting at £30 for Basic Plus for people who want to display and share their work online all the way up to Premium Business at £240 per year, where you can sell your work online and have multi-user account access; useful if you employ an office manager or second shooter. The most popular, however, is the Premium option at £140, being the equivalent of just £12 per month. This allows for an integrated shopping cart with your prices and the ability to sell products from partner labs (the latter subject to a 15% service fee).

Every account comes with an integrated photo blog, social media buttons, unlimited galleries, email campaigns, custom pages, and the selling accounts come with an integrated shopping cart, partner labs to sell directly through your website, self-fulfillment options, client access page, password-protected galleries, digital downloads and more. Marketing tools include: social media sharing, coupons, gift certificates, SEO tools, visitor tracking, ability to offer packages to clients and email campaigns. The photographer selects from dozens of preset designs or creates custom designs. What's more there is the ability to add watermarks, password-protected galleries and right-click protection.
