Because you are a professional you handle it with great care and finesse. If you are allocated extra time you do have some choices and are able to use your creative talents. You get to be the director in the story for that part of the day. There are some restrictions perhaps, example, the church does not allow flash photography.

You could be restricted to certain areas or not allowed to deviate from them to tell your story. Does that change your story? Perhaps - only you could be the true judge of that.

Let's talk about the wildlife photographer and the story they are going to tell. Depending on his subject and the habits of the subject - it is set up beforehand.
