I’d love to say it was because I love to meet new people and make them happy and all that. But to be honest, the new people thing often scares the life out of me, but I do love it when they come back to see their photographs and say things like ‘oh, it’s like a photograph in a John Lewis catalogue’, as one of my recent Back-to-School, shoot mums said.

Who inspires you?

My children are my greatest inspiration as I’m an older mum and they keep me young. Photographically it’s Damian McGillicuddy - I’ve been part of his MMoS (mentor me on steroids) professional development programme for about five years now. I’ve loved learning new techniques which I incorporate into my own work.

Also, Joyce Tenneson’s, Tranquil Stillness. Shannon Sewell's hand-made props and fun style. Wevolution Self-Reliant-Groups here in Inverclyde and in Glasgow.
