What can't you live without?
My wife and my two sons are the foundation in my life.
What motivated you to start in the industry?
I started taking pictures as an amateur over 25 years ago, mainly making black and white prints in the darkroom. I've never been good at doing nothing, so I needed another focus for my free time, when not playing sport.
Which sport did you play?
Martial arts, golf and gym training. My mother took me to Judo when I was six, to learn how to protect myself. I then continued with several other martial arts, such as Tae Kwon Do where I earned a black belt, and then boxing, Muay Thai and mixed martial arts. Golf has been both recreational, and work, over the years.
Nowadays, I mainly go to the gym and work out with free weights.
What's your mindset when you get up in the mornings?
Each day I think about my goals and what I need to do, to get closer to achieving them.
Do you work alone or employ staff?
I work mostly alone. However, I do hire others to deal with finances, SEO, and sometimes basic image editing too, depending on how full my schedule is. I would like to build a long-term relationship with and employ a trustworthy assistant in the future.
