The truth is that the Boggio ultra-rapid ascendancy is based on hard work, careful planning, smart, proactive promotional strategies - and a little background assistance from Oprah, Richard and Judy. Julia and her Welsh, film-maker husband, James Derbyshire hit the TV news 'big time' five years ago when they scored millions of hits on YouTube with their version of Dirty Dancing, played out at their own wedding reception.
"I love films and drama," says Julia. "We spent months planning our own wedding theme and that included learning how to dance Swayze-style. We uploaded the video of our wedding dance to YouTube 18 months after we married and from then on the phone didn't stop ringing. First there was Richard & Judy, BBC Breakfast and GMTV, and then, over 40 million viewers watched us on Oprah, where we were surprised by Patrick Swayze. We were making headlines all over the world - even in Iran and Pakistan."
