This year Sam is also going to be fulfilling an ambition to deliver a workshop in Italy, where his family comes from. 'I'm going to Italy a few times this year to teach, but at the same time London was also an ambition for me and this will be my fourth time back!' he says. 'Knowing that you have a following for the right reasons is what really motivates me to keep on teaching and lecturing.' As well as Italy, Sam also hopes to deliver longer workshops in London next year.

He'll be teaching more photographers the fundamentals of great photography, such as lighting and composition, and how to use technical knowledge to produce timeless pictures.
