Asian weddings are a growing force within the UK and many photographers are keen to tap into this lucrative market. If you're serious about shooting an Asian wedding then Sanjay's Masterclass on Saturday should be on your must-see list. 'The Masterclass will aim to break down the multitude of ceremonies that an Asian wedding might involve and try to demystify some of the background and traditions. I'm aiming to equip photographers with the knowledge they need to have the confidence to break into this visually and culturally loaded market.' Sanjay's second Masterclass will talk delegates through different approaches to Asian wedding photography, helping photographers to decide if they want to specialise in photojournalistic or styled imagery, or perhaps a bit of both! The two classes together should give any photographer considering Asian weddings a great insight into this exciting part of the industry.

Sanjay's images demonstrate why any photographer should be looking at this market with interest; his pictures are vibrant and packed full of emotion. 'I love how the traditions in the ceremonies, the aesthetics, the theatricality, family unity and emotion are all intertwined to create a visual synergy.' So much energy and passion for your work can only come from having fantastic and emotional subjects to shoot and Sanjay also points out that he feels lucky to be able to witness and capture so many of these landmark moments in people's lives. 'It's hard not to experience the emotions from the day in the images that we create, there's just so much at the events.'
