GW Digital and Photo Ltd

Something of the proverbial 'one-stop-shop' for your professional lighting requirements is this Aylesbury-based outfit, which as well as selling brandname gear also designs and installs studio set-ups of all sizes for everyone from individuals to universities - a major part of its business according to MD Graham Wainwright. It supplies the complete Bowens ranges - including naturally the Gemini flash and Pulsar TX radio trigger systems - plus also the Elinchrom studio flash system (including Ranger Quadra and RX range), with Graham flagging up the Photo Beard tungsten lighting kits as a further 'hero' product. He adds that the range has proved extremely popular with its lightweight construction yet superior light output. The entry point in the Photo Beard Fresnel range is the 300W miniBeam, for which there is a three-head kit with a choice of hard (tough lightweight fibreglass) or soft (dust resistant, heavy duty and cushioned) carry cases.

When we spoke 'GW' was also poised to introduce a range of lighting from Len Carta (www.lencarta.com), to include fluorescent, continuous lighting and flash, details and prices for which should be able to be found online at the URL below by the time you read this.
