In the evening we ate, opened a bottle of wine, then retreated to the games room for some pool. Afterwards there was sorting the clothes for the next day and reviewing of images from earlier. This was to be the template for the coming days, with the pool getting more and more competitive!
On Monday morning Richard and Emily drove to Calais to pick up our third model Charlene Durrant, while Cassie did her hair and make-up, while I edited down the photos from the day before. When Cassie was ready we went out and started shooting. Around 11.30 the others returned, there were introductions and a quick lunch (and some beer) before starting to shoot again. With three models taking turns to change and then be photographed, we started getting through the dresses and locations at quite a rate. The flashes and cameras were keeping up, even when I was starting to flag!
Tuesday morning there were grey clouds in the sky; we got a few shots outside before the rain started. We moved inside to use some stairs and windows as backdrops. After lunch it was still the same and so we moved on to some lingerie shots featuring corsets.
Wednesday morning the weather brightened up again and we shot outside again with lots of help from the strobes to combat the sun. I was mainly concentrating on getting shots of Charlene as she needed to leave in time for a midday ferry as she had a part in a movie that was being shot on the following two days. The afternoon saw it cloud over again and rain start to fall, so we moved on to interior shots. We shot some clubbing dresses in the games room, and then some more lingerie shots in the bedrooms.
