French Connections - part 6 of 1 2 3 4 5 6

At lunchtime we went over to visit the patisserie in the local village, then it was back to the house to start packing up the gear and dresses ready for the morning. A hearty dinner, lots of wine and beer, and some fairly rowdy rounds of pool saw the evening out.

Saturday morning we started out fairly early; the girls wanted to do some clothes/shoe shopping in St Omer, and I wanted to pick up some wine to bring back, and Richard needed to get us to Calais around 1.30pm for the ferry home!

Was it mutually beneficial? Well I can't speak for the others, but I got some great shots for my portfolio (I used some for my LSIFGP & LSWPP panels), ate well, drank well, had a jolly good time and, true to Richard's word the only time I put my hand in my pocket was to buy wine and cheese to bring home with me.
