As he's enjoyed success in his business, Brett has also become highly regarded as an expert in his chosen fields, with an ability to teach others how to follow in his footsteps. To date he's published two books on wedding photography, The Brett Florens Guide to Photographing Weddings and 75 Bridal Portraits, and he's also produced three tutorial DVDs. Brett runs photographic workshops around the world, and most recently he was to be found speaking at the WPPI Conference in Las Vegas, before flying off to Bucharest where he was invited by Nikon Romania to lecture to a live and online audience of 3,000 plus photographers.

So, given all these achievements, what is Brett looking to do next? "I would love to be more involved in the educational circuit in Europe," he says. "I really enjoy passing on the knowledge I've gained to other photographers. Not only is this rewarding because I see them growing as photographers, but also because I feel that it uplifts the industry. There are so many new photographers entering the market and they are unconsciously diluting it with cheaper, unsustainable prices. I help them avoid the mistakes I made when I entered the market."
