I purchased a listed building, which was a small barn, and transformed it into a studio, somewhere that I could exhibit my work at its best, frames, albums and, of course, a place to project my work on large screens.

More importantly, this would separate work from home and family life.

Working from home prior to the opening was often difficult and meant inconvenience to my family, especially to my two girls who wanted daddy to read a story to them at night.

This building served me in the town of Wimborne, Dorset, for 25 years, during this period of time I have covered around 1,000 weddings and thousands of portrait sessions.

Many of these sessions were environmental portraits throughout the Dorset countryside and beaches, especially of young children; I always felt they were far less intimidated on location, after all, I endeavoured to make it fun for them, like a great outdoors joyous occasion - this assured me of good results if the children were at ease.
