Taking pictures in a zoo out of season is a pleasure because the animals are so grateful to see you and will come galloping over much of the time. We were stalked by tigers, nuzzled by rhinos and the meerkats were our best friends! The hippos danced for us and as for the giraffes, well make your own minds up.
We had a great time and this is something we'd like to develop as a facility for the Societies' members. The close season is the best time to visit the park, so if you would like to come, from any part of the world to shoot there then drop us a line to give an idea of numbers. If you want an experience like this, then get in touch. It will remind you exactly why you ever picked up a camera in the first place and you'll share it with wonderful people.
