This particular bag comes complete with internal padding to protect your camera plus a front pocket to store other bits and pieces, whilst a thick shoulder pad makes carrying it all that more comfortable, Nikon suggests. Nikon hand-strap-come-grip accessory

`Proving so popular that it was out of stock at the time of writing - perhaps also because it looks like something from Batman's utility belt - is Nikon's hand-strap-come-grip accessory for its DSLRs. More than just a hand strap, it envelops the hand so that photographers can achieve a firmer grip on their DSLR, whilst leaving space for batteries to be exchanged or a tripod attached. It can also be used in conjunction with a battery pack and even a shoulder strap, just to keep all options open. Nikon says that it should also prove useful in steadying the likes of the D5100 if shooting single-handed whilst adjusting its variable LCD screen, to give one example. The hand strap costs £30.99 when available.
