PermaJet
Think PermaJet and you probably already have in your mind's eye the Oyster 271gsm paper which took the accolade for the best inkjet paper for digital prints at The Societies' awards last year. As standard, PermaJet also offers free custom profiling for all its users.
Manufactured to be the whitest Oyster/Pearl surfaced paper on the market, PermaJet Oyster is described as possessing a subtle pearl/lustre finish, its heavy base weight of 271gsm giving it a true photographic paper texture and finish. Suitable for both colour and monochrome images, this tough, instantdry, resin-coated paper is finished with a UV-protected, microporous coating, providing a high degree of water and fade resistance.
It's also compatible with both dye and pigment inks, a quality which has, according to PermaJet, prompted photographer Ian Staton of Vif Images to comment: "We have now decided to stop using Ilford paper and move completely over to PermaJet Oyster."
