What do you love most about being a photographer?
It’s definitely meeting lots of pets and families. It’s also capturing the moment and seeing the special connection between pet and owner. I think it’s sad when people’s photographic memories are locked away in chests, on computers or phones. I love creating beautiful pieces of artwork, capturing clients’ personal stories in pictures they can showcase in their homes, for their families to enjoy for many years to come.


Who inspires you?
I feel it’s what inspires me, rather than who. I don’t compare myself to others or copy what they do, but look for something unique in their work, especially when they have been nominated for awards. Something which I can take away, which in turn inspires me to stretch myself into new directions and keep resolute (photography is incredibly hard work).

I'm encouraged by my ‘Mindset for Success’ group, my talented husband and two lovely daughters who are proud of my achievements, as I am of theirs.

I'm motivated by a whole raft of people including entrepreneurs (not just photographers) who are passionate about their work and make a positive difference to others.
