Being a self-employed photographer fits in perfectly with my lifestyle too. In 2014 I sailed round the UK with my husband and Bugsy. I took countless photographs of Bugsy in places impossible to reach except by boat, which I am sharing in a blog. Even when I'm out and about without my camera, I love to sit, watch and wait for a perfect moment that tells a story and take photographs with my mind. Apart from wishing I had my camera, I sometimes think it’s good just to peoplewatch, absorb life and observe interactions.
It’s a personal joy when clients tell me, I've captured their pet’s personality, saying ‘that is so like my dog or cat’. I just love that!
What's your most important challenge to date?
It’s definitely confidence in really valuing and expressing my true identity, which I'm overcoming through my ‘Mindset for Success’ group. I put a very high expectation on myself so when I show clients my work I can be nervous, as all I want is to make them happy.
